Enyimba have frowned at the wrong match date currently in circulation suggesting that the club’s home match against Katsina United is on Saturday and live on Startimes.
The People’s Elephant made the announcement on their official website.
“The club wishes to correct the wrong impression and to inform it’s fans and the unsuspecting football followers/public that the match date against Katsina United still remains Sunday October 6th 2024 at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium, Aba,” reads the statement.

“The club will continue to pursue it’s preparations ahead of the match day 5 NPFL encounter as original stated by the organizers of the league who up untill the time of this release have not written Enyimba FC through any channel regarding any changes to match date or live telecast.
“While we hold the broadcaster and other partners of the league to high esteem, we also wish to call for more caution and carefulness in other not to deceive our fans and that of the league especially now that the NPFL is making great impact with the positive achievements recorded so.
“We there urge our loving fans and every football supporter who intends to see the encounter to disregard the erroneous posts as it may be the hand work of some mischievous elements who wants to serial the focus of the 9 time NPFL champions.”
