Nigeria forward Anthony Nwakaeme hopes to win the Turkish Super League title with Trabzonspor this season.
Trabzonspor currently occupy top spot on the table with 27 points from 11 matches.
“We are in a race and we know it will not be easy. We are ready to finish the race in the lead. We want to continue like this,” Nwakaeme declared.

The 32-year-old , a cult hero in Turkey following his performances since joining the club in 2018 is also relishing his time in the country.
“I am very happy to be in a country like Turkey. A lot of things have changed in my life since I came here. If there’s something people celebrate, I wanted to celebrate with them,” he said.
The striker scored the winner in Trabzonspor’s 2-1 win against Rizespor at the weekend.
He won the Turkish Cup with the Ankara club in the 2019/20 season as well as a Super Cup the following campaign.

Look take it or leave it. Rohr and Pinnick will be bundled out of SE Matters very soon. Their corruption is too much. I am not saying that Anthony should be in the team. but, What I am saying in a Normal country where things are done properly Ighalo would have to go through Nwakaeme before even reaching the likes of Osimhen Awoniyi Iheanacho and Co in the SE pecking order before Making the team. That is in a normal setting where things are done purely on merit.
