Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu has disclosed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is willing to stay with the club.
Kavukcu made this known after the Turkish giant reached a compromise with Napoli on the Nigerian international’s transfer payment.
“Nobody believed in us. We showed the world that Galatasaray has such a capability. No one can mock Galatasaray. No one can talk to us differently,” Kavukcu was quoted by Turkish football pundit, Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, as saying.
“We are present at every table. Relax. If there are five clubs in the world today, Galatasaray will definitely be one of them.

“Osimhen wants us badly. Despite receiving incredible offers, he wants us. He stands firm.
“Don’t pay too much attention to social media. If we stay united, we can achieve anything.”
Galatasaray have been pushing to sign Osimhen permanently following an overwhelmingly successful loan spell in Istanbul during the 2024/25 season.
With 37 goals and eight assists in 41 games, Osimhen was a key driver in helping the Istanbul-based side with the Super Lig and the Turkiye Kupasi for the Turkish domestic double.
