Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum has said it is important for her side to prepare adequately for the 2024 Olympic Games.
The nine-time African champions earned a berth at the Olympics for the first time in 16 years after edging past the Banyana Banyana of South Africa 1-0 on aggregate.
The Super Falcons will face world champions Spain, Japan and Brazil in Group C at Paris 2024.
Waldrum has demanded that his team prepare in Europe for the competition.
“My plea is to help us to prepare properly, we need to camp in Europe, we need proper training, proper transportation, we need to do things right,” Waldrum said after the game against Banyana Banyana in Pretoria.
“Every team at the Olympics is top, like the World Cup, we’re in the ‘Group of Death’.”
The Copper Queens of Zambia also booked a spot in the women’s football event after 3-2 aggregate win over Morocco.

NFF should start making all the necessary provisions now.

Watch. They will send the team on a 2-week training camp and Europe and say $2m or $3m of the $4m Afcon winning money was spent organizing it.
You seem to know those people very well. Nigeria will be great again but we must do many things differently. We must kill greed and self-centeredness.
We must learn to be content with what God has given us, individually and collectively. We must protect our national interest that is what makes countries great.
NFF likes to employ coaches they can share their salaries with, at least it has been confirmed by one of the foreign coaches they were trying to engage.
And some of our local coaches collect money from players before they are selected. We can not move forward like this.
These ladies have shown they are serious, focused, and ready to do well.
