Nigeria midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali faces serious sanctions by Portuguese SuperLiga side, Chaves after he was caught using his phone while on the substitutes’ bench.
Nwakali started Chaves’ league clash with Famalicao last weekend but was replaced at half time by Guima.
Chaves lost the keenly contested encounter 1-0 with Gustavo Sa scoring the decisive goal for the visitors in first half stoppage time.

The modest side were relegated from the Portuguese top-flight following the defeat to Famalicao.
Joao Moreno’s side occupy last position on the table with 23 points from 33 games.
Nwakali is expected to be punished by the club for his action.
It would be recalled that disciplinary issues also cost him his contract at Spanish club Ponferradina after he reportedly returned to the club late from the delayed 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.

Being an U-17 star or joining top European team like Porto does not guarantee you success! The moment he joined Porto junior team he started acting the I Don hammer, I Don arrive attitude.
What separates an U-17 star from senior team star is attitude and dedication.
Osimhen, Ndidi,and Awoniyi are good examples of former U-17 stars that have consistently achieved meaningful progression in their playing career.
The fact that these guys decided to use mid-teams in the Jupiter league to Jumpstart their career speaks volume of the level.of mentorship and their commitments to their career goals.
It’s no surprise that most of the current national team stars in top 5 leagues once played in the Jupiter league. Osi (performed wonders in lique 1 and shatterd records in Serie A) Awo (created records in the Bundesliga and Premiership), Ndidi (renowned and recognized in EPL), Boni (record breaking performance in Bundesliga).
The ones that rose from junior teams in Europe are groomed to obey the basic principle of the team.

I warned Chaves at the start of the season about this guy. Every team he touches battles relegation or gets relegated.
Chaves finished in a respectable place just outside qualification for Europe last season….in came the one with the “midas touch” and now they are headed to the 2nd division in a flash…LMAOo.
If only Chaves had realized that playing this guy in their team means playing always with man short.
