Trabzonspor have reportedly identified Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare as a potential attacking reinforcement ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Black Sea Storm are in the market for a new centre-forward following the departure of Felipe Augusto to Russian Premier League side Zenit St. Petersburg, with Arokodare emerging as one of the club’s leading targets.
According to Turkish outlet TRT Spor, Trabzonspor have included the Nigeria international on their transfer shortlist and are considering a season-long loan move for the 26-year-old.
Arokodare is widely expected to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer after the club suffered relegation from the Premier League last season.

The striker is keen to continue playing at a high level, and a move to the Turkish Super Lig could offer him the opportunity for regular first-team football.
The powerful forward only joined Wolves from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk last summer but endured a difficult debut campaign in England.
Despite featuring regularly, Arokodare managed seven goals and two assists in 42 appearances across all competitions for the Old Gold.
Trabzonspor are expected to strengthen several areas of their squad as they prepare for the new season, and the club believe Arokodare’s physical presence, aerial ability and experience at the top level could add a new dimension to their attack.
Should negotiations progress, the former Genk striker would become the latest Nigerian to ply his trade in the Turkish Super Lig.
