Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has ruled out Reece James from Tuesday’s Champions League second leg round of 16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea skipper has struggled with hamstring injuries throughout his career but has largely avoided injury problems this season, playing 36 times in all competitions.

Speaking ahead of the Blues’ Champions League last 16 clash versus PSG, Rosenior confirmed: “Reece, he’s felt something in his hamstring at the end of the Newcastle game.
“We don’t know the full extent of the injury, but he will be out for tomorrow’s game. It could be (serious). With a hamstring injury, it’s never great.
“Hopefully we can get him scanned and find out the full extent. Malo (Gusto) is ill today, so we’ll look at that tomorrow. With Filip (Jörgensen), he’s felt something in his groin, and we will get him scanned.”
