Warri Wolves were crowned champions of the 2024/25 Nigeria National League,NNL, season following a 3-2 victory over Wikki Tourists in the final of the Super 8 playoffs at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Saturday.
The Seasiders dominated the opening exchanges, and scored three goals in the first 25 minutes.
Yusuf Abdullateef opened scoring for Warri Wolves after the seven minutes.
Abdullateef then set up Igbunu Evwierhurhoma for the second goal nine minutes later.

Napoleon Aloma’s side scored the third goal through Joshua Shemaye five minutes before the half hour mark.
Wikki Tourists however mounted a spirited fight back with Mamuda Aliyu reducing the deficit in the 35th minute.
Wonderson Yakubu netted the Bauchi Elephants’ second goal in the 59th minute.
Warri Wolves however held on to claim the title.
