Super Falcons and Brighton first choice Chiamaka Nnadozie was ranked fourth in the Yachin trophy at the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.
Nnadozie, who was present at the ceremony in Paris, France on Monday, was one of five players who made the shortlist for the individual award.
The award was won by England and Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, while Germany and Gotham FC shot stopper Ann-Katrin Berger was second.
Cata Coll of Spain and Barcelona was third and Daphne van Domselaar finished fifth.

Nnadozie had a brilliant performance in the year in review for both club and country.
At her former club Paris FC, the 24-year-old helped them win the Women’s French Cup before joining Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer.
Then she played a key role as the Super Falcons of Nigeria clinched a record-extending 10th WAFCON title in Morocco.
For her impressive display in goal for the Super Falcons, Nnadozie was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament.

Very strong achievement girl, keep it up. Number 4 in the world is not a walk in the pack.
They fail to give osimhen the men’s best player of the year award because he is a Nigerian.. if he was a white or from another country he would have won it. And not the dembele guy…I mean this guy scored 34 goals or so for galatesary last season with 7 assist…..he is earning 400k per week…the only player after only mbappe and Kane in Europe. He even won the Turkish league and cup last season
