Nicolas Jackson and Riyad Mahrez are leading the golden boot race at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, reports Completesports.com.
The duo have scored two goals each in the competition.
Jackson bagged a brace in Senegal’s 3-0 victory over Botswana on Tuesday.

Mahrez also scored twice in Algeria’s 3-0 thrashing of Sudan on Wednesday.
The former Manchester City winger has now scored 36 goals for Algeria.
Mahrez moved to second on the nation’s all-time scorers list behind Islam Slimani.
The brace also saw him become Algeria’s leading scorer in AFCON’s history with eight goals.
