Manchester City assistant manager Kolo Toure has disclosed that it will be very difficult to predict the country that will win the fast-approaching 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will take place in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
Ivory Coast, who are the reigning champions after overcoming the Super Eagles 2-1 in the 2023 AFCON final, will be aiming to retain the trophy in Morocco.

Speaking with reporters, Touré was asked which country will win the trophy; he replied, “It’s going to be difficult.
“North African countries like Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria will be very strong. I also see my country, Ivory Coast, in the mix. We won the last AFCON and we still have a very good team.
“I’m counting on my country to win the tournament.”
