Former Manchester United defender Gary Pallister says he’s confident that Arsenal will lift the Premier League and FA Cup titles after losing the Carabao Cup to Man City.
Recall that the Gunners’ hope of claiming the quadruple was dashed on Sunday after losing 1-0 to Man City in the final of the Carabao Cup at Wembley.
Speaking with BOYLE Sports, Pallister stated that Arsenal’s nine-point league lead and superior consistency, coupled with their remaining FA Cup and Champions League campaigns, make them strong double contenders.

“I think they’re going to win the Premier League. The other teams are too inconsistent, and Arsenal are nine points clear now. I know Man City have a game in hand and still have to play Arsenal, so it could potentially get close.
“I’m not sure they can win the Champions League. FA Cup, yes. I think the Champions League might be the one that scuppers them. They have very good chances in the other competitions, certainly the FA Cup and League Cup. I just have a gut feeling they won’t make it in the Champions League.
“It’s been a tough few years for Arsenal. Everybody’s talking about seeing all this stuff about the worst team that would have ever won the Premier League. I’m not quite so sure about that. They rely a lot on set pieces, but that’s still a huge part of the game.”
