Semi Ajayi will continue his promotion chase with West Bromwich Albion when the Baggies host local rivals Birmingham City today (Saturday) at the Hawthorns, reports Completesports.com.
Albion sit second in the table, one point behind leaders Leeds United and six ahead of Fulham in third, having won 19 of their 37 Championship games and scoring a league-high 64 goals in the process.
Slaves Bilic’s men , who last took the pitch on March 7 at Swansea City know a win against Birmingham City will take them closer towards their ambition of playing in the Premier League next season.
“We’re all extremely excited for the game against Blues on Saturday,”Ajayi West Brom’s official website during the week.
“It’s probably the longest I’ve ever gone without playing a competitive game. The summer break isn’t even this long.
“I’m looking forward to it massively.

Ajayi has made 35 league appearances for the Baggies this season and scored five goals.
