Former Nigerian international Friday Ekpo has urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to commence early preparation for the Home Eagles ahead of the 2024 African Nations Championship.
The Nigerian team qualified for the competition after edging past Black Galaxies of Ghana 3-1 on aggregate.
The West Africans are making a return to the competition after a six-year absence.

In a chat with Compleetsports.com, Ekpo believed with early preparation, the Home Eagles will excel at the tournament.
“I am very optimistic that the Home Based Eagles will excel at the tournament going by their victory over Black Galaxies of Ghana in the qualifying series.
However, I will encourage the NFF to commence early preparation for the team so that they can prepare adequately and put all the tactics in place.
CHAN 2024 will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
