Enyimba International midfielder Abiodun Joseph is confident his team will be successful in their campaign for the NPFL title.
Joseph, a former Rivers United star, said this to Gongnews.net shortly after a hard fought victory against the Insurance of Benin.
According to him, Enyimba will be a team to beat these season.
“From our pre-season games and to the League proper we have a great understanding and our focus is to go back to the continent and bring back the glorious year of Enyimba and we understand what our chairman Kanu Nwankwo want the team to achieve.”
The former Sunshine Stars player, who scored his second goal for the Aba team on Sunday against Insurance of Benin promised to keep giving his best for the team.
Enyimba International of Aba the ninth time League champions, has kept an 100% hold on the League on match day 5 in a 5 goal thriller against Insurance of Benin, with Governor Alex Otti and his wife in attendance.
The Governor however made his team smile with a reward of 30 million naira with 10 million naira per goal scored by Enyimba with Insurance of Benin also getting 10million naira as a gift from Governor Alex Otti.
Enyimba are currently on top of the NPFL table with 11 point from 5 games played so far, the team will travel to Lagos to play Ikorodu City for match day 6.
