Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has disclosed that the team will face a difficult test against Arsenal in today’s Premier League clash.
The Gunners maintained their unassailable lead at the summit in midweek, seeing off Brentford 2-0, while Unai Emery’s men pulled off a tremendous comeback in a seven-goal spectacular with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Since succumbing to Dominik Szoboszlai’s fabulous free kick in August, Arsenal have now avoided defeat in 18 straight games in all tournaments, but Arteta’s men now meet the only team to outperform them in the last six Premier League gameweeks.

Speaking with TribalFootball, Emery, who tipped the Gunners as favourites to win the Premier League title, stated that it’s a big opportunity to face Arsenal.
“We now have the really huge opportunity to play against Arsenal — the best team until now and, of course, I think the favourites to win this trophy in the Premier League because they are performing and competing fantastically.
“After our progress, today is a really huge test. Huge test collectively, huge test individually, and for me as a coach as well, I am delighted to have this opportunity.”
