Super Eagles forward Moses Simon’s Nantes’ poor run continues as they were hammered 4-0 by visiting Freiburg, on match day four in Group G of the Europa League on Thursday.
Nantes are now winless in their last seven games (six defeats and one draw).
Simon was on from the start before making way in the 73rd minute.
The defeat leaves Nantes in third place on three points while Freiburg confirm their place in the next round.

In Group D Victor Boniface bagged a brace as Belgian club Union St.Gilloise were held to a 3-3 draw at home by Sporting Braga.

Boniface scored in the 20th minute to make it 1-1 and netted in the 62nd minute to tie the game at 3-3.
The draw is enough to send Boniface and his St.Gilloise teammates into the knockout phase.
And other outcomes in the early kickoffs saw Arsenal pip Bodo/Glimt 1-0, Rennes beat Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 away, Real Betis and Roma played 1-1 and Midtjylland held Feyenoord to a 2-2 draw.

At least Uzoho is playing at old trafford today. Just made a good fingertip save from a wicked shot from casemiro. But quite similar to the goal conceeded against Algeria, he misjudged the flight of the ball

I’m surprised nobody is talking about that Boniface boy.. he is good! Very Good! This was the same way oshimen started, the Belgian league was where he developed his game before going to France.. I don’t see Boniface staying in Belgium for so long.. he is pure class and one for the future.. I pray he stays fit..
We don dey talk am since. Boniface is a good striker. I was hoping Pese will invite him against Algeria, but he was understandably left out, as we have much talent in the striking department. But the way Boni has been playing lately, it will be hard for the SE handlers not to notice.
I think Boniface should take awoniyis place for the next friendly games. If we are playing against any lowly rated side, we can try him out. But I like what I see of him. He has a lot good attributes on the field and his game is impressive.
