Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Peter Rufai believes the current Golden Eaglets squad if well natured will form a major part of the Super Eagles in future.
Recall that the Golden Eaglets on Friday night were crowned champions of WAFU U-17 tourney after defeating Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final.
Reacting to their performance, Rufai in a chat with Completesports.com said that there are gifted players in the team that can grow up to play in a key role in the Super Eagles in future if their progress are monitored properly.

“I am really delighted with the performance of the Golden Eaglets at the WAFU U-17 championship. Besides, they crowned their superb efforts with glory by winning the tournament after defeating Burkina Faso in the final.

They shouldn’t rush them in, but harness them, monitor them progress till then.
They still have a long way to go. They are okay as the west Africa Champion. This is just the beginning of a very hard journey to becoming the World king. We must not overdo it, or they can easily run out of the discipline required to be the best they can possibly be for themselves and for the Nigeria Nation.
