Jamilu Collins says the Super Eagles will give their all to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles rounded up their qualifying campaign in style, thrashing Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.
Jose Peseiro’s side will be among the 24 teams that will fight for honours at the 2023 AFCON finals which will be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.
The three-time champions were knocked out in the Round of 16 in Cameroon 2021.
Collins however believes the Super Eagles can go all the way this time around.

“I strongly believe we can win the trophy in Cote d’Ivoire. We started well the last time in Cameroon, but unfortunately we couldn’t go far,” the Cardiff City star told Completesports.com.
“Next year in Cote d’Ivoire, we want things to be better. We will be aiming for the trophy and I strongly believe we can win it.
“It’s not going to be an easy task but we will work hard to achieve our objective.”
The Super Eagles last won the AFCON in 2013.
The 2023 AFCON finals will run from January 13 to February 11.

It needs many things for Super Eagles coaching crew to do just like to make defensive midfield side strict and rigorous on every rival, that means to play with tow strong defensive midfielders just like to pair Ndidi with Alhassan youssuf also that means Super Eagles must play with 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 when they confront strong teams like Morocco, Algeria,Ghana,Cote De’Ivore,Tunisia,Cameroon; if the team is in minnows SE can play with 4-4-2 or 4-2-4 just as follows:Uzoho-Aina,Bassay,Ajayi,Zaidu-Ndidi,Alhassan-lookman,Iheancho,Iwobi-Osimhen or Uzoho-Aina,Omeruo,Ajayi,Zaidu-Ndidi,Alhassan,Iwobi-Lookman,Chukwueze,Osimhen or to play with Uzoho-Tyronne,Bassay,Ajayi,Oneymaechi-Ndidi,Iwobi,Lookman,Iheancho-Awoniyi,Osimhen or other tactic 4-2-4 with the same who played aganist Sao Tome & Principe at Goodwill Akpobio ,in Uyo 10 september 2023; Peseiro also must play depth football with excellent Iwobi and Ndidi who can do this task, also in center backs Peseiro must pair strong SE Oyibo, this Oyibo must be consistent just as between(Bassay,Ajayi) or ( Omeruo,Ajayi); if Peseiro does these stratigic things he can win next CAF tourenment in Cote De’Ivore 13 January 2024.
