Premier League champions Liverpool have signed Alexander Isak from Newcastle United for a British record transfer fee of £125m.
“Liverpool FC have completed the transfer of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United,” Liverpool said in a statement.
“Isak joins the Premier League champions as their new No.9 on a long-term contract, which he signed on deadline day after successfully passing a medical.”
According to BBC Sport, Newcastle sources claim the deal could be worth as much as £130m with add-ons.
Sweden international Isak, 25, had a medical on Monday before signing a six-year contract.
Isak, who will wear the number nine shirt with the Reds, told the Liverpool website: “This is the next step for me in my career. I’m super happy that I’ve been given this chance and I’m very motivated to do something well with it.
“I want to create history. I want to win trophies. That’s ultimately the biggest motivation for me.

“This is the perfect place for me to grow even further and to take my game to the next level and help the team as well.”
Liverpool had an original £110m offer for Isak rejected in August but have now landed their first-choice target of the summer.
The protracted saga came to an end on the final day of the transfer window, with the Reds announcing the deal two and a half hours after the window closed.
Last season Isak was on the score sheet as Newcastle beat Liverpool 2-1 in the League Cup final.

Isak comes with major EPL experience. That’s a big plus. And he’s arguably the deadliest No 9 in the premiership currently.
But like is this how you handle disputes and disagreement in the real world??? Going on and on for months and edging a year on a petty issue, turbocharged by an ego to be right?
Like if you had a tiff (business or personal or even partner) with someone, you simply keep harping on a matter until anyone that even initially agrees with you start to be disgusted by feminine-sque insistence to win arguments.
There have been many disagreements on this forum but almost everyone still sees eye to eye. Someone says something, someone else proves them right or wrong. They chest it and move on to other issues.
Why argue on a matter more than twice or thrice at most, when it’s not a life-and-death situation? Even Finidi, Osimhen, or Lookman never comment on that matter again. They’ll ignore any journalist that brings it up. Why hung up in one spot?

Apparently,there are those who must argue with his posts others like me for example rarely gets involved knowing he didn’t mean all the negative comments instead enjoys how it hurts people,the squabbling,row/fight/argument ect..He craves for this mayhem.

I know monkey post from days of Rhor, He enjoy creating scene like this, at a point over Rhor mater D.Drey and monkey were getting along well on this forum. Intact it use to be theirs against the rest of the world when someone want to tarnish the image of Rhor.
But at what point D.Drey and monkey post develop this bitterness against each is what baffles me.
