Former Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Obi has advised Chelsea to sign three more quality players if they are to compete for next season’s Premier League title.
Recall that the Blues have signed Ipswich striker Liam Delap and are in the race to sign Mike Maignan and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens before the Club World Cup.
Speaking with Metro, the former Chelsea star stated that the club must bring in experienced players to strengthen the team.

“I am excited by the business the club has done. But if we can go again and win the [FIFA] Club World Cup, they [Chelsea’s co-sporting directors – Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart ] can bring in more money and spend,” Mikel told Metro.
“Bring in an experienced centre-back, another midfield player and another winger.
“Jadon Sancho is going back to Manchester United, if we can bring in another winger who can create chances and score goals, because that’s what we [Chelsea] need.”
