The Nigeria National League, NNL, has approved Lobi Stars’ return to the McCarthy Stadium, Makurdi.
The NNL gave the permission after recent inspections carried out that deems the stadium facilities satisfactory.
Chief Operating Officer of the league, Danlami Alanana revealed the reasons behind the decision.
Alanana also warned that the permission to use the McCarthy Stadium is provisional and can be withdrawn if the standard is not maintained ,noting the NNL shall keep monitoring the facilities.

“For now we are impressed with the upgrade they have,we visited and have seen what they have,” he told the NNL media.
“Recall the same venue was chosen for the opening match of the season but we had disapprove of it because of their failure to put basic facilities in place.What they have is better.”
Lobi Stars played their home matches in the first stanza at the Lafia City Stadium.
They will host Doma United in their first game of the second stanza.
