Former Nigeria international, Sunday Oliseh, has praised Umar Sadiq for his wonder goal in Real Sociedad’s 1-1 draw against Osasuna in LaLiga on Saturday.
For the second weekend running Sadiq netted another superb strike for Sociedad.
Last Sunday he unleashed a rocket from distance in a 2-1 home win against Sevilla.
He then replicated the effort against Osasuna to record his second goal in 13 league appearances this season.
Reacting to a post by BBC Sports presenter, Mimi Fawaz, Oliseh described the goal as top class.

Sadiq missed most part of last season for Sociedad no thanks to injury.
Prior to joining Sociedad in September 2022, Sadiq made 79 league appearances in total at Almería, scoring 40 goals and providing 13 assists.

Another wonder strike from Sadiq.
Our strikers do so well for their clubs, yet struggle for the national team.
This same Sadiq we are all raving about now looks listless and lukewarm in the Nigeria jersey. That has been the case in the recent internationals he’s played.
One thing that will dramatically improve the output of our strikers is adequate service.
Another thing is tactics. Good tactics can isolate the strengths of a striker, which can greatly improve performance.
At the moment, Osimhen and Boniface are surely Afcon bound, barring injury.
Orban and Sadiq are also making a strong case, and may very well crash the Afcon party.
