Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has expressed his disappointment that Arsenal failed to overcome Manchester City in Sunday’s Premier League game.
Recall that the two teams played out a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium after Erling Haaland had given the visitor the lead in the ninth minute before Gabriel Jesus leveled parity in the 93rd minute.
Reacting after the game, Oliseh, via his official X handle, faulted the Gunners’ inability to convert goal-scoring opportunities against Man City.

“I am shocked Arsenal did not beat Man. City today! This is, I believe, one of the weakest performances put up by Man. City,” Oliseh wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“Eze and Saka’s introduction gave Arsenal a better grip of the game, if only Arsenal could better combine to strike at goal more. Sadly 2 points lost in my opinion, but then, it could have been worse!” he added.
The result lifts Arsenal to second in the table, five points behind leaders Liverpool, while City remain in ninth, eight points adrift.
