Chelsea yesterday announced the appointment of Liam Rosenior as their new head coach on a 5½-year contract. Rosenior took over at fellow BlueCo club Strasbourg after spells as head coach at Hull City and Derby County. The 41-year-old has been Strasbourg head coach since July 2024. He guided the French club to a seventh-place finish in Ligue 1 last season. He leaves them following Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Nice, their fifth league game without a win. They sit seventh in the table and are top of the Conference League.
