Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong is happy with the team’s qualification to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, reports Completesports.com.
Gernot Rohr’s men picked the ticket to Cameroon 2021 after Lesotho and Sierra Leone played out a goalless draw on Saturday.
The Super Eagles then beat Benin Republic 1-0 away to extend their lead at top of Group L.

Substitute Paul Onuachu scored the decsive goal deep into stoppage time.
Troost-Ekong took to the social media to celebrate the win.
“AFCON 2022 QUALIFICATION ✅🇳🇬🦅,”he tweeted.
Nigeria will host Lesotho in their final match of the qualifiers on Tuesday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium , Lagos.
