Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has disclosed that the Citizens must be ready to beat the best team in Europe if they are to win the Champions League.
He made this known after Man City were placed against Spanish giants Real Madrid, a side they have faced several times in the past 4 years.

Real Madrid represent as familiar an opposition as any that Guardiola and Manchester City have encountered in Europe over the years, with the Blues set to face one of Atalanta or Bayern Munich should they reach the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
Reacting to the draw, the Spanish tactician stated that to be the best you must beat the best.
“It helps for our club. As much as we play against the best teams in the history of the competition you learn and improve and will be better in the future.”
