The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has debunked rumours it has sanctioned free entry for fans into stadia at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The competition has been marred by low turnout of fans across the different centres.
The home fans have only turned out in large numbers to watch the Atlas Lions.

There were reports that CAF in conjunction with the Local Organsing Committee,LOC, have ordered free entry for fans due to low turn out at different stadia.
CAF encouraged fans to continue buying tickets through official channels.
“Reports of free entry are completely false. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through official channels to attend the matches,” the statement read.
