Popular Nigerian content creator and livestreamer, Peller, has promised to reward Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman with ₦500,000 for each goal he scores against Morocco.
Ademola Lookman, who played in Nigeria’s win over Algeria, will face Morocco on January 14, 2026, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The livestreamer announced this during a livestream, where he explained that offering financial rewards could push the players to give their best on the pitch.

”I will reward Ademola Lookman with ₦500,000 for every goal he scores against Morocco.
“This is my own way of supporting the Super Eagles and motivating them ahead of the match. I mean it. To ginger them more, you’ve to be giving them more money”.
The Super Eagles secured their spot in the semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Algeria, while Morocco defeated Cameroon 2-0 to advance

Why is Peller making this offer to Lookman only, why not to any member of the team that scores? Wouldn’t that make Lookman too selfish and not releasing the ball to other more appropriately placed member with higher chance of scoring?
In any case, it’s a team sport and no player alone could carry the ball from Defence to opposition box and score goals without aid and passes from his team members. A more proper deal would have been #500k or whatever amount of cash to the team for each goal scored, no matter who the scorer is! “No single tree can make a forest.”
Wrong move. This might make Lookman to play selfishly and ruin the team’s chances of beating Morocco.
