The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has announced that the winner of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will receive $10m, reports Completesports.com reports.
CAF made the announcement following its executive committee meeting in Rabat, Morocco on Saturday.
The prize money for the winner represents a 43% increase from the 2023 edition, when hosts Cote d’Ivoire pocketed $7m.

The winners of AFCON 2021 received $5m, and with the figure having doubled to $10m in 2025, it marks an astonishing 100% increase over a four-year period.
The runners up will receive $4m, while the two semi-finalists each get $2.5m.
Hosts Morocco will take on Comoros in the opening fixture of AFCON 2025 on Sunday (today).
The encounter will hold at the Complexe Moulay Abdellah in Rabat.
