The Complete Sports Celebrity Workout which is the ultimate health and fitness event is purely designed for people who are ready to embark on an epic fitness journey like never before to live a healthier life.
Ahead of the program which berthed a few years ago with the maiden edition having taken place at the Palms Shopping Mall Lekki, Lagos on the 29th of December 2018, we spoke with the organiser, Dr. Solomon Ojeagbase on the project.
What exactly is the idea behind the Complete Sports Celebrity Workout?
The Complete Sports Celebrity Workout is a unique Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at promoting healthy living and fitness among Lagosians.
Complete Sports Celebrity Workout is also a physical and mental fitness event. It was created to not only foster healthy living through exercising but to also educate Nigerians about the benefits of doing so.

The Complete Sports Celebrity Workout is also not an average fitness event. It is a special event designed to inspire, motivate and take your health and fitness journey to the next level.
It is also a sportainment event led by renowned experts and celebrity trainers created to foster healthy living through regular exercise and also to bring to the consciousness of Lagosians the importance and benefits of healthy living.
What should people who plan to attend the CS Workout be expecting?
The workouts will feature a series of fitness sessions such as Aerobics, Pilaris, yoga, functional fitness and spinning led by renowned fitness experts and celebrities, incision awareness talks from medical experts as well as question and answer sessions with the trainers and networking opportunities for participants.
Are we going to see celebrities at the event just like the maiden edition in 2018 which had the likes of Shehu Abdullahi, Ogenyi Onazi, Jude Ighalo, Elderson Echiejile and Super Falcons’ Asisat Oshoala in attendance?
We should have had some of the current Super Eagles players but as you know, the league season has just resumed, so most Nigerian international footballers are on active duty in Europe.
Nonetheless, we have an exciting line-up of fitness experts such as Kemen Fitness. We also have social media influencers such as Tomi Talabi, Tomiwa Talabi and Pamilerin Adegoke.

We will not leave out a few former Super Eagles players such as the likes of Etim Esin, Friday Ekpo and Moses Kpakpor.
The second edition of the event will be held almost five years after the first one. What is the plan henceforth, is it going to take place annually or once in two years? We are curious to know.
We had to take a break in 2019 as the whole world was hit by the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) but now, we are back and better.
