France head coach Didier Deschamps has tipped Cameroon, Morocco, and Egypt are favourite to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking with Asharq Sports, as per Afrik-Foot, Deschamps stated that the three nations have good players capable of winning matches for their respective countries.
“I watch – not entire matches – but I obviously follow quite a few AFCON games,” Deschamps told Asharq Sports as per Afrik-Foot.

“The favourites are often the same teams. “It’s like a World Cup – we always talk about the same nations. There can be surprises, of course, but the strongest African teams are there, with very, very good players who play for top clubs.
“I don’t want to make anyone jealous. I respect all African teams, and may the best one win.”
Pressed further, Deschamps finally added: “Egypt, Cameroon, Morocco… everyone.”
