Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers was on target for Rangers who beat visiting Hibernian 3-1 in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Dessers has now taken his tally in the Scottish topflight to 13 in 27 appearance.
He scored in seven minutes of added time in the first half to put Rangers 2-1 ahead.
The last time he got on the scored sheet for Rangers was on 24 February when he bagged a brace in a 5-0 win against Hearts.

The 29-year-old was replaced with 10 minutes left while Leon Balogun was an unused substitute.
The win against Hibernian took Rangers (73 points) above Celtic (71 points) to top on the log.
Dessers was on target for the Super Eagles in their 2-1 win against Ghana’s Black Stars in last week’s international friendly game in Marrakech, Morocco.

Dessers is miles ahead of Umar. Dessers just has to be more ambitious because he deserves a lot more recognition from club and country. I know some parrot mouth will use Sociedad and Rangers comparison to counter my claim and disregard players attribute.

I am saying sorry on behalf of Kolawole. He did not take his chances against Ghana and Mali. Let forgive him please. He will bounce back that is for sure.
Nigerians are expecting too much from our goal machine which is normal.
I call a spade a spade but in this situation, Dessers have to be more calm in front of goal. We still need Kolawole in the Super Eagles if only the in coming coach will get a new set of play makers to compliment Dessers and other strikers efforts in the Super Eagles.
That said, Finidi is not good enough to be the next coach.
The combinations of Amunike and Jo Bonfere is the best for Nigeria.
Jo said is available to help Amunike as an assistant coach if given the opportunity to Amunike.
N01, NFF doesn’t have to pay huge amounts of money to Amunike and Jo Bonfere.
N02, the two, will reform Super Eagles and bring hope to the team.
