However, it seems Hammers chiefs are pursuing a deal for the former France Under-21 star, who bagged 15 top-flight goals from 29 appearances last term. Football.london are reporting that the German outfit wants the majority of the cash up front, with the next instalment within six months, and it remains to be seen if the East End club’s money men agree to those terms. West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan is taking an active role in negotiating with both parties concerned and it is by no means certain the former FC Utrecht will be at West Ham next season.
