AC Milan winger, Rafael Leao has labelled Victor Boniface a ”technical and very dangerous attacker”.
Leao and his teammates will be guests of the Bundesliga champions in a UEFA Champions League clash at the BayArena on Tuesday (today).
Boniface made his first-ever appearance in the competition in Leverkusen’s 4-0 drubbing of Feyenoord last month.
The 23-year-old has already scored three goals and registered one assist for Die Werkself this season.
Leao picked the Nigeria international as Leverkusen’s most dangerous player.
“I know Boniface, he’s a technical and very dangerous attacker; Chukwueze is his national teammate and he’s spoken about him this week,” Leao told the club’s official website.
“We will need to be prepared to face all of their team, because they play well, even the wide players Grimaldo and Frimpong who are very dangerous. They’ll need our attention and respect, but we can’t let them scare us”.

Our wingers in super eagles should always watch how Boniface enjoys crypse pullout crosses from his wingers at club level and he converts them with ease and the same thing happened at Galatasaray past weekend where Osimhen easily converted a croos from the wings. Samuel Chukweze and Moses Simon pretty much play the same style of always running into the opponent’s eigthen which makes it very easy for opposing defenders to close our Attackers down. All they need to do is pack the eighten and that is why or attackers struggle when they come home to play. The midfielders ain’t helping matters either, everybody focuses on the Attacking Midfield and Iwobi has become player that takes all the blame. Personally i think it is unfair to blame Iwobi for all that is going wrong in that midfield. Iwobi is naturally a false 9 player that is where Arsene Wenger assigned him to when he brought him from the junior team to 1st team at Arsenal. The Dm at the Super Eagles is one of the weakest DM’s we have ever had in the Super Eagles yet everybody gives them a pass. Indidi the leader in that position to me is less than average player in that position Make Ola Aina and Bassey the take over our Dm and make Chukweze and Moses Simon change their style of play or drop them for others afterall we have a lot of Attacker now that can play from the wings eg Olayinka, Iwobi,samuel kalu, Akor, Tella etc.
