Trabzonspor vice president Zeyyat Kafkas has disclosed that Manchester United are demanding a hefty fee for goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Onana left on a season-long loan deal to Turkish side Trabzonspor after making a number of high-profile mistakes in the 2024/25 campaign.
Recall that the Cameroonian goalkeeper was a €50 million investment in 2023, but he failed to live up to his price tag at Old Trafford. Numerous high-profile errors made his position between the sticks untenable.

In a chat with the club’s website, Kafkas stated that the Red Devils are demanding up to €50m for Onana, which naturally makes a move to Trabzonspor impossible.
“The price offered by Manchester United for André Onana’s purchase was in the €45-50 million range, and our President sincerely informed the club about the realities of Trabzonspor,” said Kafkas.
“I don’t think this information affected Onana at all. Because Onana’s intention is to continue playing for a club in Europe if not in England.
“His family also thinks that way. The President wanted to explain the realities of Trabzonspor. However, if the circumstances change, the situation will change”
