Italian football legend Marco Materazzi believes Arsenal must pray for luck if they are to win the treble this season.
Recall that on Sunday, Manchester City lifted the first major honour of the season, beating Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final as the Gunners’ quadruple hopes were crushed.
Speaking with Hajper, Materazzi stated that Arsenal can win a historic treble this season but warned that they need luck, perfection, and increased focus to handle the pressure.

While praising Mikel Arteta’s squad, he noted their relative inexperience could be a weakness, stating every match from now until the end of the season is a final.
“I think Arsenal are a very good team. They play very well. But their manager was the right-hand man of Pep Guardiola, so Pep knows him best. He knows everything about Mikel Arteta so he knows how to stop them.
“Arsenal will run for the title. I saw them play against Inter. They played very well. They are just a little bit young. They do not have the experience, but I think they have the opportunity to win, and I think they can win the treble.
“How can Arsenal win the treble? You have to be lucky. You have to be focused. You must stay fit because each game from now until the end of the season is a final. You have to be perfect in any game.”
