Akwa United head coach Paul Offor has urged his players to maintain their push for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The Promise Keepers currently top the Nigeria National League, NNL, Conference B table with 25 points from 12 games.
The Uyo club will be away to Osun United in a matchday 13 encounter in Osogbo on Saturday.
Offor declared that it is important for his team to keep pushing for a return to the top-flight.

“The remaining six matches are very crucial for us and we cannot afford to be complacent, We must remain focused and ensure we make the most of our chances,” Offor told the club’s media.
“We are not yet where we want to be, and we have to sustain our current momentum by showing consistency in our performance.
“We have reached a stage in our campaign where we must approach every match like a cup final.
“We cannot gamble with our chances. We must be fully prepared to fight and win together because our objective is to finish the season strongly.”
