Akwa United head coach Paul Offor has declared his team ready for the local derby with Godswill Akpabio FC, reports Completesports.com.
The Promise Keepers will face Godswill Akpabio FC in a Nigeria National League, NNL, matchday 16 encounter at the Uyo Township Stadium on Wednesday.
Offor Ready For Battle
Offor said his team is keen to secure maximum points in the game.
“Our game against Godswill Akpabio FC is a very important one for us. I am very happy with the character and attitude the players have shown in training ahead of this match,” Offor declared ahead of the game.

“We have to approach this game like it is a home game for us. That is the mentality I want to see. We have to give the fans a reason to cheer.
“I want us to maintain a top mentality so we can come out with three points, which will be crucial to us achieving our objective this season.”
Akwa United currently top the NNL Conference B table with 28 points.
Godswill Akpabio FC sit in seventh position with 19 points.
