Team Edo’s Faith Osamuyi won gold medal in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 22nd National Sports Festival, reports Completesports.com.
Osamuyi took first position with a personal best time of 13.26s.
Team Delta’s Wisdom Great Musa claimed gold medal in the men’s category.
Musa won the race in a time of 14.15s.

In the women’s 800m final, Comfort James of Team Akwa Ibom went home with the gold medal.
James ran a personal best time of 2:04.05s to beat his rivals.
Hamid Sambo of Team Edo won the men’s 800m final in a time of 1:51.10s.
It was big consolation for Sambo, who suffered a shock defeat in the final of men’s 1500m, losing to James Boyi Gang from Plateau state.
Team Ogun’s Aderonke Akanbi set a new festival record in the
3000m steeplechase.
Akanbi obliterated the previous festival record of 11:07, clocking an astonishing 10:28.04s.
