Former Nigerian international Joseph Yobo has advised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen not to hesitate to join Manchester United if the opportunity avails itself.
Recall that the Nigerian international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since the January transfer window opened.
However, Yobo has urged the Galatasaray striker to join Man United because it’s the right club for him.
“For me, it’s a no-brainer. Victor and Manchester United are a perfect fit, and there’s no doubt he would thrive if they signed him,” Yobo said.
“Even though they’re struggling in the transition, Manchester United are still among the top three clubs in the world, and that’s not going to change anytime soon.”

The former Marseille defender advised his compatriot to consider working under Manchester United’s new manager, Rúben Amorim, whom he regards as one of the best managers at the moment.
“If you ask me, I’ll be honest with you: Victor [Osimhen] should take the offer if it comes. Their project is exciting with a new coach in [Ruben] Amorim, who is one of the best of his generation.
“If Amorim wants to trust Victor to be one of the leaders of this project in transition, yes, I think he shouldn’t think twice; he should take it.” the 44-year-old added.
