Southampton have booked a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup after stunning Arsenal 2-1 in the quarter-final at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
Fresh off losing the English League Cup final to City before the international break, Arsenal saw another potential trophy slip from its grasp.

Ross Stewart gave Saints an advantageous lead before halftime. Arsenal answered with 22 minutes to go through substitute Viktor Gyokeres.
However, Shea Charles scored a precision goal in the 85th minute and the hosts held on for a spot in the semifinals along with Chelsea, Manchester City, and the winners of Sunday’s quarterfinal between West Ham and Leeds.
A semi-final at Wembley awaits later this month for the Championship play-off hopefuls, who are dreaming of replicating Lawrie McMenemy’s second-tier Saints winning the FA Cup in 1976.
