Three Flying Eagles players have been included in the WAFU B U-20 Championship team of the tournament, reports Completesports.com.
Lanky goalkeeper Nathaniel Nwosu, midfielder Daniel Daga and forward Ibrahim Muhammad made the list.
Nwosu made a number vital saves in the Flying Eagles four games in the competition.
Daga, picked up two man of the match awards during the competition.

The talented midfielder was named man of the match in Flying Eagles’ 2-2 draw against Burkina Faso and semi-final victory against Cote d’l voire.
Muhammad also got his reward after netting twice during the competition.
Semi-finalist Cote d’l voire also have three players on the list, with Burkina Faso and Benin Republic having two players each. Hosts Niger have won one player.
The Flying Eagles won the competition after edging out the Squirrels Benin Republic 3-1 in the final at the Stade General Seyni Kountche, Niamey on Sunday.

Ladan Bosso’s side finished the competition with three wins and one draw.
The Flying Eagles alongside Benin Republic will compete at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt next year.

Congratulations to the players! I suggest our CHAN coach, Mr. Salisu seriously consider fast-tracking this young man, Nathaniel Nwosu to his CHAN team. The young goalkeeper has personality, great agility for a goalkeeper of his height, seems to have a solid grip, deals well with crosses [ a major weakness of most of our goalkeepers] and distributes the ball well. Plus, he has a high ceiling, presumably. Both Mr. Aloy Agu and the late Mr. Wilfred Agbonavbare went to the senior national team after representing Nigeria at the U-20 level. So, there is a precedent already established. Young Nathaniel Nwosu could well be the long-term solution to our goalkeeping problem. I suggest, he be given a genuine chance with the CHAN team.

I think it’s the position of the camera crew that made the person in the photo look much older than he really is.
I have seen a front view of Yahaya he looks much younger but the side view and the shape of his head gave a wrong impression to the public though he may have had a hard life all this factors could have led to the lad looking older than 19.
