BBNaija star Pere Egbi has shared his opinion on the rift between Super Eagles players Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
The incident occurred in the 63rd minute of Nigeria’s 4–0 victory over Mozambique in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, when the Galatasaray striker was caught on camera shouting at Lookman after the Atalanta winger missed a scoring opportunity despite Osimhen being unmarked.
At the time, Lookman had already created two clear chances for Osimhen, including one direct assist, while another opportunity came through Akor Adams.

Footage of the moment showed Osimhen pulling away from captain Wilfred Ndidi before angrily pointing at Lookman and voicing his frustration.
Reacting to the development via his official X handle, Pere called those demanding Osimhen’s removal “clueless,” adding that the team has no replacement for the striker.
“Are people so clueless to actually demand that Osimhen be dropped? Really???? Come on. That’s a reach!
“Dem drop am now, una get im replacement anywhere????? Wf!!! Na we wan use our hand commot ourself from this AFCON. Imagine players reading these bants online.”
