Tunisia head coach Sami Trabelsi has said his team must approach their last group game against Tanzania with the right mentality, reports Completesports.com.
The Carthage Eagles will be aiming to bounce back from the 3-2 defeat to Nigeria when they take on the Taifa Stars.
A draw will be enough for Tunisia to secure their passage into the Round of 16.
The North Africans can also still top Group C in case they beat Tanzania, and Nigeria lost to Uganda.
“Tactics are important, yes, but without mental strength and sharpness, it becomes very difficult to win a match like this,”Trabelsi was quoted by CAFonline.
“Our focus has been on building that mentality for a crucial moment.”
Progression would mark a 15th appearance in the knockout stages for Tunisia, reinforcing their reputation as one of Africa’s most consistent tournament performers.
