Kennedy Boboye has expressed his desire to help Akwa United win the President Federation Cup.
The Promise Keepers are looking to claim the title for the third time this year.
The Uyo club will face Kebbi United in a Round of 64 encounter at the Bwari Stadium, Abuja on Wednesday.

Akwa United were eliminated by the same opponent in the Round of 32 last year and will be desperate to avoid another early ouster.
“The FA Cup is a funny competition because it is full of surprises. It is a fresh opportunity for us and a good avenue for us to secure continental football next season so we can’t afford to underrate any team, we have to put in our very best in all the matches to ensure we make it all the way,” Boboye told the club’s media.
“FA Cup is not new to Akwa United Football Club having won the Cup twice (2015 and 2017). It will be a thing of honour and pride for all of us and for our fans to win the competition three times in ten years.
” I have won the FA Cup once as a player in 2005 while playing for Dolphins but I haven’t won it yet as a coach so I will really like to win it this year with Akwa United”.
