Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Oleksandr Usyk on his victory against Britain’s Daniel Dubois.
Usyk defeated Daniel Dubois to become the undisputed heavyweight world champion with a fifth-round knockout at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Victory saw Ukraine’s Usyk extend his unbeaten professional record to 24 fights as the WBA, WBC, and WBO champion added his British opponent’s IBF belt to his collection.
Reacting to the victory, Zelensky via his official Telegram handle, described Usyk as the undisputed champion and a legend.

The President shared his congratulations on Telegram.
“Oleksandr Usyk has done it again! An undisputed champion. A legend. One of our own,” he wrote.
The President expressed gratitude to the boxer for the strength and inspiration he brings to the entire country with every one of his victories.
“Thank you for stepping into each fight with Ukraine in your heart. Congratulations on the win—to you, to our country, and to everyone who cheered you on,” Zelensky emphasized.
