Nigeria should thank God for VAR. The same rubbish that happened in the last edition was almost happening today. The coach and the girls too did not help matters. They were too defensive in the first half….they probably were intimidated by the mammoth crowd which is unacceptable for professionals. One thing is certain…the gap between Nigeria and some African nations is not much again. The fear factor is gone.
Abiodun and Ayinde shouldn’t be starting games instead one of the pair should start as a defensive midfielder.
We didn’t do well in the group stages with both players as starters but sprung to life the moment Echiejine took the place of Abiodun.I don’t know why the coach chose a system that failed in the group stages in a final game weird!
What’s Super Falcon doing? Already 2 goals down and we are not half time yet. Nigerian ladies appear intimidated by the huge crowd cheering the Moroccans. Na waooo, this was not the script written before the match!
We are sitting too deep. I need to know why Abiodun is starting this Match. Why can’t the coach just maintain the winning team? We are not attacking them enough..
Just a couple of quick observations at this point- This serves all those loud mouth Nigerians who have been running their big mouths about how the Super Falcons are too strong for Morocco – we already warned you lot that football is not played with mouth and boasting before the game is even played is very stupid, now you can all see – This is the fault of those loud mouths, we were castigating SA and Ghana etc for doing the same thing!
Secondly, CAF and co are clearly not wanting to leave anything to chance in this game – I first thought that only the ref is from Southern Africa and hoping that the rest of the officials will be at least spread out from other parts of Africa, but NO, they have chosen every match official from that region – make what you will of that, I know what I think about it.
But anyway, none of that is even looking like it matters anymore now because the girls haven’t turned up and Morocco have somehow gone 2 goals up, at this point, it is looking like project impossible, with the way the Moroccans are and their Spanish coach, I am seriously considering switching off!
Why are the Falcons jittery? They got used to playing in a near-empty stadium only?
I have no idea why Ayide was tentative kicking out the ball and instead passed to an opponent to score. And Abiodun is not an offensive player. She’s slowing down the buildup play.
I have no idea why Echiegini is dropped for Abiodun. Was Madugu trying to be defensive from the get-go?
The laser shit again? Can’t NFF and CAF do something abt this? Anyway laser gat nothing to do with both goals conceded, look at how Alozie got beaten easily for the second goal. Well we still gat the second half.
We want to play Morocco, we want to play Morocco…Is it not Morocco that is leading 2-0? Especially Plumptre when she was making noise that we want revenge. They dribbled her twice she stopped committing herself. Our coach moat likely didn’t even study Moroccan team. He just assembled players to go and express themselves. It’s clear that they studied us. They’re intentional in their approach using the wings and beating us on pace. At this point Payne should come in for Plumptre if not they’ll keep using her wing.
Congratulations to the coach for getting it right in the second half of the match. He is a great man. God bless him. We need him all the time to win more trophies for Nigeria and Africa.
What the heck is going on????
What are you bringing on Oshoala for when she brings NOTHING!!
It’s Ordega that should have come on FFS!!!
Now they will definitely lose this game – And now that cheating ref was very very quick to see their own penalty when she tried to give Nigeria’s one as a goal kick to Morocco!!
These people will surely have a special place in hell!
Oya – Come join me sing…
God is good
He has done us well..
All our souls, Rise up and praise the Lord…and repeat….
Praise the Lord Oh singo singo…..Praise the Lord x 2
Praise His Holy Name…Oh Singo singo…praise the Lord
Power power beyond the sky…that set we free
Power power beyond the sky..that set us free
I love that Man…of Galilee of Galilee…for He has done so very much for me
He has forgiven all my sins and sent the Holy Ghost to me I love that Man….of Galilee
Hahahaha, Field Marshal my man, praise God always.
No be only when we win match ooo.
O boy, I don’t know what to do with myself. The joy is too much.
It’s party time, folks. Make unu dey jolly dey go!
If no VAR…this match would have be very different. most calls from the ref were suspicious. Imagine initially giving the penalty as a goal kick when it was obvious it struck a Moroccan player. But her eyes became eagle eyes when the Moroccan overturned penalty happened.
The VAR was right, the ball touch Dimehin’s body before contact with the hand if all all and you will see that she was trying to move her hand away. So ball impact as well is taken into consideration.
SUPER EAGLES, ARE YOU WATCHING? ARE YOU SEE WHAT I AM SAW?
Super Eagles, unu see the joy and happiness our ladies have brought us?
We dey look una now ooo.
The next Afcon is almost here. Make us proud. Make us happy once again!
Pompei my guy……I hail oo
In fact I go reserve one nice bottle Dom Perignon Vintage 2015 for you to mark this momentous occasion!
PROJECT X IS NOW A FAIT ACCOMPLI
Alhamdulilah. All praises due to you Allah. I am super excited kę.
It seems like Morocco has won the match in the first half, but when God says yes to you, who can say no?
The coach made a mistake in the first half by playing Alimatu Ayimde
and Biodun but overturned it in the second half.
Lesson for you and me, here, my people. When you are facing any challenges in life, please don’t give up instead, hold on to your God and prayer and keep working hard.
It is not about how you started but it’s ended.
The gaffer’s subs were spot on and Nigeria restored the hope of Nigerians.
I am deeply happy for the Super Falcons for making us proud. Yes Mission X is possible and now accomplished.
I hope this spirit will translate to help the Super Eagles go all out and get the job done when the World Cup qualifiers resume.
Congratulations to the Mama of Africa, the Super Falcons. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

Congratulate the champions first

I think Jennifer is injured. I also felt concerned when I saw the two holding midfielders in the starting lineup.
Coach can only blame himself….After the q final and semi final…The coach should have mixed things up.
Apparently the coach sets out to play a defensive game. Talk about self destruct…same mistake we made in the men final

The Nigerian coach should be sacked after this match. They didn’t train for the match thinking Morocco would be a walkover.
Nigerian coach beat the Spanish World Cup winning tactician?
The team is playing rubbish

What?? This ref gave a goal kick when it was a clear penalty and where is VAR???
This is true
Like seriously? Even if it’s not PK, was that not a clear goal kick? Thanks to those behind the VAR today, this ref. Need to beaten.
