9ja needs a better leftback to be honest, someone with pace bcos Sanusi and Onyemaechi lack this attribute. They are easily beaten and recovering is very difficult for dem.
Iwobi has been brilliant so far. I want to blif dat its not cos Tanzania is a minnow ooo. He still needs to wirk harder in retrieving posession and tackling but overall he has been brilliant
He has always bn brilliant in passes. His problem is retrieving possession and keeping it. Also he cannot drive forward. He is not suited in big games . Same with Kwukweze. I hope Chelle learns this fast cos its dangerous playing these 2 against top opponents like senegal , Dr congo , morroco etc
Iwobi has been exceptional. His direct and forward passes are unsettling Tanzania defense. My man of the match for the first half.
Akor has also been impressive. Quite surprising, if you have asked me. Dropping back, holding the ball, dribbling in tight spaces, and creating chances with through balls.
Overall, Super Eagles has been good. We just need to convert our chances.
The coach’s game plan has been clear: pressure, direct attack.
Lookman plays as 10, going center. While Chukwueze stretches the defence to the right. Through balls through the middle has been flowing.
I like the quick interchange of passes by Nigeria.
Iwobi has worked very hard with good runs and forward passes. In fact he has been everywhere i doubt he has put any foot wrong so far,im impressed at his work rate.
We need to carry on with the intensity in the second half to tire out the hardworking Taifa stars
9ja is playing dangerously. Sanusi is always being beat easily. He needs support there. Eric Chelle should address diz sharp. Manage the game properly coach. Slow down d pace of the game, dictate the tempo.
Because Nigeria plays narrow, plenty of teams will deliver plentiful crosses into Nigeria’s 18 yard box. Our centre defensive apparatus needs to be tight, compact and decisive.
9ja needs a 3rd goal to put diz game to bed. Tanzania might just nick 1 if we don’t score soon. We need to score soon. I dey smell okro soup (draw) if 9ja no dey careful and finish dis game off now. God forbid sha
I wasn’t expecting more than a goal difference but knew definitely we should win. Osimhen needs to time his run and not be faster than air. Akin is a good team player . Zanusi is playing because there no better players is technical ability is low. The captain did a fantastic work.
Against a very good side we might be in confusion as we are not compact.
Bashiru needs to play with his sense .
This is a game we should have won by three nil . Our boys are always contended with a narrow lead.
In conclusion being too offensive can run our chances of going far.
Iwobi did a fantastic job today and am impressed by lookman.
Exactly my point, being too offensive and playing high impact game at this stage of the competition might tell later in the competition, that was what affected this team against congo at the playoffs when they played Gabon with full energy and became tired against the Congolese. On a good day if we had met the Congolese first before Gabon we would have beaten them silly. I hope this coach has learned his lessons?
A good way to start but am not really convinced the defense can stand the test of time. Sanusi was the weakest link in this defense and to be honest we missed Frederick. Let’s see how it goes against Tunisia their game is going on though leading by 2-0 but they are not fantastic
Please check d goal scored by Tanzania, Sanusi was caught ball watching, he is prone to doing dis. Eric Chelle really needs to address dis afcon. The new boy Ryan Alebiosu (might have spelt his name wrong) could be tried there, am just worried Sanusi will cause us goals, i really hope am wrong.
This was the best game Iwobi has played for Nigeria. Could it be the presence of Akinsanmiro has made him to sit up? Brilliant performance but Zaidu though! I am convinced that Eric Chelle is an elite manager. Everyone with eyes could see Zaidu was having a stinker and he did nothing to help the player or correct the problem. Zaidu staying on for 90 mins is an absolute disgrace.
Having said that, the Eagles were very good in the first half. They absolutely dominated the half. I also do not understand why he keeps playing Bashiru on the wings, such a waste. Simon was electric when he came on, Ndidi was solid, Akor was our best striker , Lookman was efficient.

Where are the patriotic Nigerians!!!
This team is the worst Nigerian team I’ve seen..God forbid
Are you joking?I think the team has played brilliantly
Sanusi needs to do better with his deliveries, they’ve been amateurish to be honest for a professional footballer. Lets go Super Eagles

VO9 scored but disallowed. Checking var, brilliant goal if it stands
Tanzania equalizes
Sanusi is just leaving pockets of space on the right. Thank God Lookman has restored the lead.
Thumbs up @Kels. U nailed it.
Lookman scores to make it 2:1. What a strike.

I hope coach Chelle finds a way to conserve the energy of this team, if not they will burn out before the quarter final stage.

i BEG TO DISAGREE, IWOBI WAS THE ONE WHO LEFT THE PLAYER, SANUSI HAD A PLAYER HE WAS MARKING,
