Oluseye Ajayi, Head Coach of Osun United, has exclusively told Completesports.com that no competition is ever “easy” — least of all the NNL Super 8 Playoffs, which kick off in Asaba, Delta State, from 5 to 8 July, 2025.
Osun United will face the trio of Crown FC (Ogbomoso), Kun Khalifat (Owerri), and Warri Wolves in a battle for the two promotion slots available in the Southern Conference during the Playoffs.

Similarly, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, Barau FC, Doma United, and Yobe Desert Stars will fight for the two promotion tickets in the Northern Conference. The Playoffs are scheduled to hold at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
Coach Ajayi exuded quiet confidence on Tuesday evening while speaking about the Omoluabi Giants’ preparations and chances in the NNL Promotion Playoffs.
“We’re preparing for the Playoffs in Asaba. The players just regrouped on Monday (23 June), and we’re looking forward to a good and successful outing by the grace of God,” Ajayi said.

“Our chances? Yes, we’ve teams like Warri Wolves, Crown, and Kun Khalifat in our group — very strong teams, no doubt.
“Of course, no competition is ever easy, so we anticipate a tough Playoffs in Asaba. Our resolve is to work hard, give our very best, and pray that God crowns our efforts with success,” Coach Ajayi concluded.
